Our portly pal Tub would have followed this page had it been published as intended in 1978, as the Mystery Comic section would have followed Wednesday (the Mystery Comic concept came to an end in the 30 June 1978 issue). Love Lilypop and the envy of the people...so Benny from Crossroads loves someone..
ReplyDeleteI can see the second panel wording has been changed...it must of said well I'm off to get my Mystery comic or something..
I remember the Crossroads plotline where Benny was going to marry a dark-haired beauty, only for her to be run over and killed on the way to the church. I still haven't got over it!
