Frank McDiarmid's Mustapha Million
I'd completely forgotten that Frank McDiarmid took over the art on Mustapha Million some years after young Master Million's debut in Cheeky Weekly, and indeed more than a few years after the demise of the toothy funster's comic. If I could summon the energy to wade through my Whizzer and Chips collection I could find the exact dates. Thanks to Bruce for posting this example, which dates from 10 years after the middle-eastern moneybags' debut. It's quite a departure from Frank's Cheeky style. Nice, though.

ReplyDeleteshame Cheeky ended in Whoopee getting smaller and smaller...:(
Yes, at the moment I'm reading through the run of Whoopees after Cheeky merged into it.
