The exciting new British Comics Free Gifts website has a page devoted to Cheeky Weekly, presenting some nice images of the information pack which was distributed to newsagents prior to the comic's launch (an item I don't own myself so was pleased to see), as well the inducements which were on offer to tempt prospective readers to purchase the first three issues, including all four variants of Fun Wallet (I only have one). It would seem that John, whose impressive collection of freebies is the subject of the site, doesn't own the sachet of milkshake which was presented to readers of Cheeky Weekly dated 19 May 1979, but nor do I - presumably I drank the 'shake then foolishly disposed of the wrapper.

there would have been a fight between myself & two bothers for any free gifts, and most likely ended up as a cloud of milkshake dust as my older brother held me down. lol
